Turning Doubts Into Clarity: How to Navigate Uncertainty and Find Your Truth

Gate 63 - The Doubt

Doubt creeps in—whether it’s about your next move, the direction of your business, or your abilities as a leader. Gate 63 invites you to embrace doubt as a tool for inquiry, not a roadblock. Sitting with your doubts, exploring them, and asking questions can turn uncertainty into clarity and confidence.

Woo Alert… My work includes practical, common-sense tools and strategies that explore the very real impact of energy on our daily lives.

I did not always freely accept this truth as part of my reality. I grew up in a very traditional, “no-nonsense” environment. My dad spent his career as a civilian computer systems specialist at the DoD. He came home every night after work with little to openly share about his day working inside the Pentagon.

It wasn’t until my life’s journey began to unfold over the years that I became more receptive to the possibilities of other ways of thinking and operating outside the typical litmus test of what “makes sense” based on what you can empirically see.

My real awakening came as a necessary survival tactic in my late thirties when my (now) ex-husband was spiraling into alcohol and xanax addiction when our children were just babies.

I had a few moments that I can only describe as divine intervention that allowed me to escape what I can only describe as a living hell with my children safely.

This process pushed me to my absolute limits of strength and resilience, setting off a decade of deep self-development and seeking a greater understanding of my purpose to make sense of what happened to us.

During this exploration, I found peace in seeing how there was a greater purpose to the challenges the three of us faced. I knew there had to be a reason these two perfectly innocent beings would have to go through something so terrible…

As a mother, you can hardly imagine how horrific it is to hear your 4-year-old son’s sweet little voice randomly come from the back seat of your car to ask you, “Mommy, why did Daddy chase you around the kitchen table with a gun?”

He had gone through that experience, and even a year later, he was still trying to process it all, grappling with something that may never truly make sense. I felt like I had let him down and seriously questioned how I could have so severely misjudged the character of the person I had chosen to build a life with.

The first few years of that transition were spent mostly in pure survival mode, with me leaning into meditation, and spiritual learning as a way to try to help work myself through PTSD and take as much control as I could to make sure I didn’t repeat the same patterns.

In 2019, I was scrolling on social media when I saw a post in which someone mentioned Human Design. It piqued my curiosity, so I decided to look it up…

I was blown away when I ran my chart and started learning some of the basics. I had never thought much of astrology, and mostly dismissed it as something eccentric people played with. Of course, like most people, I would generally read my horoscope, which only looks at one aspect and is very vague to address millions of people…

However, even though this system does include some elements of astrology (among other systems), I found it shockingly accurate.

The logical me would naturally not be open to explore the possible benefits hiding in this system fully.

Yet, out of curiosity, I looked up the charts of my two little ones, and was again blown away by the accuracy. Even at ages 2 and 5, at that point, I could already clearly see how subtle differences in the ways they approached life, and their natural abilities were reflected in their charts.

So, I decided at that point to take a deeper dive…

I researched as much as I could find online, and decided ot jump into a Foundations and Certification Program through the BG5 Institute. BG5 is the official branch from the International Human Design School that focuses on how your traits impact your business and partnerships.

Repeatedly, my explorations would make me laugh in amusement at how I was engaging with life through the energies of my chart. My 1/3 Profile that wants to know all the information, then dive in to try it and see what happens, lol…

Over time, I have seen the wisdom in challenging the ideas you think are “true”. Letting your imagination see the possibilities in a new approach can bring surprising and incredible gifts. If you’d like to get your free chart, you can grab one straight from the source here.

This universe includes many wondrous creations without logical or scientific explanation. Even though we cannot see, hear, smell, touch, or taste something, it does not mean it isn’t there. Just because we don’t understand something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

I invite you all to play this week in the realm of possibilities. You never know what magic we may unlock.

A Practical Exercise for This Week:
Ask yourself the following… How can I be more open to creative solutions to problems that seem to be immovable?

  1. Name one of your most significant and most seemingly immovable obstacles.

  2. Imagine that all limitations have been removed, even if it seems fantastical.

  3. What might a creative solution be if all obstacles were suddenly removed?

Questions to Contemplate:

  • When has an unhealthy attachment to certainty caused me to overlook creative solutions or opportunities?

  • In what ways has my self-doubt opened the door for others to take advantage of me?

  • How have I unintentionally prolonged my suffering because I wasn’t willing to question my assumptions about a person/situation?

  • How can I use doubt to fuel more curiosity and innovation rather than allowing it to paralyze me?

Try this out this week and report back. Don’t be shy… What did you uncover? Did anything surprise you? What can you implement from your discoveries that will move the needle? Have you already seen a noticeable shift?

Please mark your calendar for 3 months from now to revisit this exercise and see how it played out.

I’d love to hear from you!

Be well,

Aurea
